Spouses and children under 21 years
of temporary workers with H-1 Status are allowed to
stay in US with H-4 visas. Individuals with H-4 visas
can study Full time or part time without changing
to F-1 status. H-4 status holders, however, cannot
accept employment in US unless they obtain H-1B Visa
of their own. Each embassy and consulate sets its
own interview policies and procedures regarding student
visas. Students should consult Embassy web sites or
call for specific application instructions. You should
get an interview schedule with the US consultate where
you live.

to submit Form DS-157 regardless of your age and

you will be either denied or issued a visa, which
will stamped in your passport.
